We have a mobile baby!!!

Yes family and friends our son is mobile! He started crawling last Thursday evening but he kind of hopped not really moved...BUT last Friday morning I took him to daycare. While I was talking to the teacher Joseph CRAWLED to me!!! I couldn't believe it, I was so excited I didn't want to go to work so I could see him crawl some more. He is now fully mobile and it is adorable!!
Mark's parents came to SA this weekend and they got to see him crawl around the den; it was so cute! We are going to Laredo this weekend so my parents can see their mobile grandson!

I don't have pictures to share today but we took some last night and even got video of him moving around and talking. I will post them tomorrow.

8 Months Old!!!!

I can't believe that Joseph is 8 months old today! WOW, time has flown by fast! Mark and I were talking last night about how our lives have changed; this time last year I was pushing on my tummy so Mark could feel Joseph kick. Now we are watching Joseph crawl backwards, we are working on him going forward; watching as his four top teeth come in and also how he is starting to use his voice to communicate with us. He is not only saying "Baba" but also "Mama" "Da" and "Hi." He is also growling at us or to us; I'm not too sure what that means but he says it when he's playing with his toys.

Weekends with the Grandparents - Part One

Visting with the Grandparents is always great for us! To hear them say, "Oh, my look at how big Joseph is getting!" & "He is so cute!" It's also great to see how excited Joseph gets when he sees them, it's priceless. He makes his happy squeeky sound and greets them with a HUGE smile!


Well the weekend of May 23rd, Mark's parents came in for a visit! It started out a beautiful sunny day; we went to Home Depot to look at a few things and then we went to Hobby Lobby at the Forum. That's when our beautiful sunny day began to get grey...then dark and ominus. As we got closer to Hobby Lobby the thunder started to rumble; we didn't know how Joseph would react to the new loud sound so we made it "fun" Mark would wait for the thunder to roll and then look at Joseph and say, "bumbala bumbala!" Of course as this was said to Joseph, I was instantly reminded of the movie "Caddyshack"; I thought of the part where Bill Murray has this one guy cornered with a pitch fork at this chest and he is telling the guy how he caddied for the Dali Lamma and that the Dali Lamma said to him "Gungala, gungala" So everytime the thunder would roll I would laugh; I would see Mark as Bill Murray and Joseph as the poor guy having to listen to this story. Well long story short we got a lot of much needed rain!
