Finally, the pictures from the Coast...

I know, I know we went to the coast two weekends ago and I hadn't posted any pictures.  Well here they are!  We had a good time it was different going with Joseph but we now know what we need for our next trip...a pop-up canopy! 

Joseph really enjoyed walking in the water and the first time he sat in the water it was a good thing...until a wave hit his face.  Then he was SUPER mad at me and cried to Mark, there is a really cute picture where Mark is asking what's wrong and he points at me, "She let the water hit me in the face!" kind of look.  We enjoyed it and are planning on going back again very soon, maybe for my birthday.

When we got to Port A and Mark was checking in the lady at the desk warned him about the mosquitos??  We found out very quickly what she meant!!  The little blood suckers were waiting for us as we got to the door of the condo!!  THEY WERE HUGE!!  We got inside FAST, and called my parents to ask them to bring more bug repelant and a lot of bug spray!!  Poor Joseph we had to rub him down with repelant so they wouldn't get him.  My poor Dad got ATTACKED, big time, his neck was covered in mosquito bites.  Before we opened the door we would spray it with OFF, then as we walked out the door we would spray Raid, leave it by the cars and almost run to the beach.  On our way back we would get the Raid by the car, spray the door, one of us would open the door and run inside, shut the door and spray it again.  It was quite a little dance!  It was fun!!

This Friday is Joseph's First Birthday!!  Can you believe it?!?!  We are taking cupcakes to his Daycare friends and on Saturday we are having his Birthday Party!!

I will do my best to make sure to post those pictures the Monday or Tuesday after his birthday!!

Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love 'ya Tomorrow...

Yes, my friends tomorrow is the day and yes I have the cheesy "Annie" song in my head as well as a little song I made up myself!  If any of you have seen "Disney's Little Einstein's" my made up song kind of sounds like their opening credit song with the words, "I'm going to the beach, I'm going to the beach!"  I know I'm a little wacky but I'm so excited about tomorrow!!!

Mark is off today and tomorrow and poor thing; he has too much to do to enjoy his kid & wife free day. :(  Oh, well it's all for his birthday trip to the Coast!!

I will have lots of pictures to show next week and hopefully some funny stories too!

Count down to Port A...

We are at t-minus two days!!!  I am so excited and ready for some fun and relaxation.

I forgot to blog about the play date we had last Friday!  Joseph and I got to hang out with Arabella (his little girlfriend) and her mom Jacky.  We were suppose to work on Joseph's scrapbook but were having too much fun playing with the kids...we kind of...forgot.  It was so cute, Joseph kept giving Arabella kisses & hugs; then she would give him kisses & hugs.  They were chasing eachother around the house and making eachother laugh.  It was AWESOME!!!  We can't wait to schedule another play date really soon.

This week is Joseph's First Offical Week in Room 2 at daycare.  It's be an adjustment for him but he gets to play with Arabella and some of his other friends all day.  His teachers said he's doing well but is still a little fussy sometimes.  I hope he will adjust and get to enjoy all the new things they get to do in Room 2.  The teachers are so nice and they love Joseph!!!  We shall see and I will be sure to keep you posted on how he's doing.

So little man will be ONE two weeks from Friday!!!  I can't believe it, where did this year go?  We have truly enjoyed our First Year with our little man and we can't wait to see how he changes and grows as we adventure into the "Terrible Two's"  One of the Silver Stars Sales staff is an amature photographer and she, Alma, has agreed to take some pictures of Joseph for his First Birthday.  It looks like we will be doing that next week sometime and I am super excited!!!  When we get the proofs I will be sure to share some with you!

Count down to the coast begins...NOW

I know I haven't been keeping all of you up to date but this last week was really busy for us. I am very proud to say that I was lead for a HUGE event at work this past week and we only had two little minor bumps that were very fixable! Thanks to all my colleges that helped make the event AWESOME!


Ok, so Joseph update (which is why you read the blog) he is great! We are currently getting ready for his first trip to the beach!!! This coming Saturday is Mark's 30th B-day and he wanted to go to Port Aransas...so off we go. My parents and little brother are going with us and we are so excited! One cause it's Mark's birthday and two because we get to take Joseph! We are already packing and putting things together; as usual I have a lot of lists of what needs to be done for this weekend. We are kind of loosing a weekend to prepare the house for Joseph's birthday party so there is A LOT to do around the house. No worries, I plan events for a living!

Sorry no new pictures of Joseph this week but I will have many to share once we get back from the Coast!

It's hard to believe that just a year ago I was pregnant and waiting for Joseph's arrival and now I am planning his first birthday party. What a difference a year makes and what a wonderful year it has been!

Happy 11 Months Joseph!

I know I am always a day late for his "Month B-day's" but better late then never.
So this week has been C-R-A-Z-Y!  Little Man has had a high fever for most of the week and we have been really scared and worried!  Well good news is that his fever has broken and he is looking better!  The Dr. wants us to keep him home for the rest of the week to make sure that his fever doesn't come back so today he is home with Daddy!

I am really looking forward to the long weekend and especially Saturday!!! Joseph is going to his first birthday party!!  It's for one of his little friends from school, Arabella, she is such a beautiful little girl!  Today is her birthday and I went on FB to wish her a happy birthday on her Mom's FB pg.  We, the parents mom's, have decided that Joseph and Arabella should get married!  I know that they are too young and the practice of arranging marriages went out of style a long time ago...but...it is nice to dream.
